RDE Bachelor of Economics Study Program FEB Unud 2022
We have entered the Climate Casino and rolled the dice of global warming, which is putting our world at great risk. 2018 Nobel Prize in Economics laureate, William Nordhaus, offers a new analysis of why previous policies, such as the Kyoto Protocol, failed to slow carbon dioxide emissions, and how new approaches can work, with the choice of policy tools that are most effective at reducing emissions. In short, Nordhaus clarifies the issues that define our time and lays out the next important steps to slow global warming.
In order to understand William Nordhaus's ideas and perhaps play an active role in coordinating efforts to reduce carbon emissions, RDE August will discuss a book entitled “The Climate Casino: Risk, Uncertainty, and Economics for a Warming World”, which was written in 2015.
The book review will be presented by PSSE FEB Unud Lecturer, Amrita Nugraheni Saraswaty, moderated by Dewa Jati Primajana, on:
