Starting the Month with a Victory at the National Level

Udayana University students again spread their wings in the national arena. BASIC 2021 “BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION COMPETITION 2 2021” is a competition organized by the Student Association of the Business Administration Study Program, University of North Sumatra. Basic 2021 is a National-level Business Plan Competition event that is participated by students/iD3/D4/S1 public or private universities in Indonesia with the aim of developing creative and innovative ideas to have competitiveness in facing society 5.0 during the pandemic. Of course, Indonesian students flocked to the competition to compete for the national level champion.


A total of 40 teams from different universities competed for the championship. With pride and gratitude, the team from Udayana University managed to reach the second position, an extraordinary achievement. Hard work, perseverance, good teamwork have certainly been carried out, besides that, of course, many sacrifices have been made such as energy, time and thoughts. Udayana University sent a team consisting of three people from the management study program batch 20, namely, I Kadek Dwi Wahyudiana Putra, Ni Wayan Andini Febriyanti, and I Made Lanang Pradnya Pramudya. Kadek Dwi said that actually participating in the competition was just a trial and error, so he was quite surprised and did not expect to win the championship. Plus this is their first competition. Not only that, Kadek Dwi and his friends also had problems during the preparation process for the competition. “The preparation was quite tiring and it took a lot of our semester break time. We worked in groups to prepare for the competition from 1 pm to 10 pm. The obstacle is in the form of ideas and how to wrap the idea so that it is as attractive as possible”. Regardless of these obstacles they have managed to get through everything and win the championship, bravo. Kadek Dwi also advised his friends not to hesitate and be afraid to try new things.



This academic achievement, especially in the field of entrepreneurship, is expected to be a motivation and reflection for all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University to continue to be productive and achieve achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. In addition, the pandemic does not become a barrier for students to continue to make achievements and make their alma mater proud.
