International Cooperation Visiting Lecture: Global Perspectives for the Future
Denpasar – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud), recently hosted an International Cooperation Visiting Lecture featuring a distinguished international speaker, Prof. Dr. Daniel Horgos from BSP Business & Law School, Hamburg. The lecture focused on the highly relevant theme, “Why Sustainability is Important for Business,” addressing the current shifts in the global business landscape.

The event, held in the Hall Room on the 4th Floor of the BM Building, FEB Unud, was designed to provide students with deep insights into the necessity of integrating sustainability principles into business operations. During his presentation, Prof. Horgos emphasized that sustainability is no longer merely an environmental concern but a critical strategy for ensuring a company's longevity and competitiveness in the modern era.
In addition to the core lecture, the program featured an interactive discussion session. Students were given the opportunity to explore the implementation of sustainability concepts across various business sectors and discuss the complex challenges faced at a global level.

Through this initiative, FEB Unud reaffirms its commitment to the internationalization of education and the enhancement of learning quality by providing global perspectives. It is expected that students will develop a more adaptive and critical mindset, preparing them to navigate increasingly complex, sustainability-oriented business dynamics.
