The Role of the State Budget in Driving Economic Transformation and Sustainable Development in Bali
Denpasar – The Master of Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud), held a workshop titled "The Role of the State Budget (APBN) in Driving Economic Transformation and Sustainable Development in Bali" on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the MM Building, 3rd Floor. This event was initiated as an educational forum for academics and students to gain a deeper understanding of how national financial instruments work to stimulate regional economic growth.

The workshop featured expert speakers from the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (Kanwil DJPb) for Bali Province, under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. In their presentation, the speakers explained the significance of State Budget (APBN) allocations in supporting strategic projects and maintaining economic stability in Bali, particularly in addressing the challenges of sustainable and inclusive development for local communities.

Through this workshop, the Coordinator of the Master of Economics Study Program hopes that participants can sharpen their critical analysis skills regarding national fiscal policies. In addition to being a platform for interactive discussion, this activity is expected to spark academic innovation and thought leadership relevant to current economic developments, while strengthening FEB Unud's tangible contribution to supporting Indonesia's economic transformation.
