Building a Future-Proof Career: Key Insights from the HSBC BCC 2026 Guest Lecture
The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Udayana (FEB Unud) successfully hosted the HSBC Indonesia Guest Lecture Series 2026 on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the FEB Unud Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. Carrying the theme “Strategic Leadership and Financial Excellence for Sustainable Growth,” this event served as a platform for students to gain practical insights into strategic leadership, financial excellence, and industry developments.
The event commenced with an opening by the MC, the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, a prayer, and opening remarks delivered on behalf of the Dean by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, who also serves as the Acting Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information at FEB Unud. Moving into the main session, the event featured Stuart Edward Campbell Rogers, President Director of PT Bank HSBC Indonesia; Christopher Lawrence Bailey, CEO of PT YAVA; and Dio Alexander Samsoeri, Finance Director of PT Bank HSBC Indonesia.
In his presentation, Stuart Edward Campbell Rogers emphasized the importance of a continuous learner mindset and the true essence of change in the professional world. “The most important thing is to always be curious and keep learning. Make meaningful changes and bring them to life, rather than changing things just to look different,” Stuart Rogers stated. The three speakers delivered their presentations in turn, followed by an interactive Q&A session with the students.
