Collaborative Public Lecture with the Indonesia Stock Exchange on "Indonesian Capital Market Investment Opportunities Amid Global Geopolitical Turmoil"
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud) successfully hosted a Collaborative Public Lecture with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Held at the BH Building Auditorium, FEB Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, this event also marked the official kick-off for the "Road to the 59th Anniversary" series and the unveiling of the FEB Unud 59th Anniversary Logo.
The public lecture centered on the theme "Indonesian Capital Market Investment Opportunities Amid Global Geopolitical Turmoil." The event commenced with a report from the Chairman of the 59th FEB Unud Anniversary Organizing Committee, Dr. Putu Krisna Adwitya Sanjaya, S.E., M.Si., who expressed his gratitude to all supporting parties and voiced his hope that this milestone would instill an adaptive spirit of renewal across the faculty.
Following the opening report, the event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, who also serves as the Acting Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FEB Unud, Dr. I Made Artha Wibawa, S.E., M.M., representing the Dean. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the crucial need to enhance students' financial literacy, ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate the shifting dynamics of the global economy.
The main session of the public lecture was moderated by Ni Luh Putu Widya Sawitri, S.E., M.M., featuring keynote speaker Dr. I Gede Nyoman Yetna, S.E., Ak., M.Si., C.A., ASEAN CPA, the Director of Listing at the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In his presentation, Dr. Yetna thoroughly analyzed the resilience strategies of the Indonesian capital market and the unique opportunities available to domestic investors amid global geopolitical uncertainty. The audience showed immense enthusiasm during the interactive quiz and Q&A session, where students actively and critically raised questions regarding investment tactics, fostering a highly dynamic and interactive academic discourse in the auditorium.
Through this collaborative public lecture, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, alongside the Indonesia Stock Exchange, aim to cultivate a younger generation that is not only academically excellent but also financially resilient and tactically astute in spotting investment opportunities within volatile global markets. This educational synergy serves as a solid stepping stone for FEB Unud’s ongoing commitment to driving national financial literacy while elevating its 59th Anniversary celebrations with a spirit of sustainable innovation.
