Commemorating Its 59th Anniversary, FEB Unud Hosts the ICONICS 2026 International Conference
In commemoration of its 59th Anniversary, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, successfully convened the International Conference on Economics and Business (ICONICS 2026) on August 28–29, 2026, in a hybrid format. The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB Unud at the BH Building Hall, Sudirman Campus, marked by three strikes of a ceremonial gong and a performance of the traditional Sekar Jepun dance to welcome local and international speakers and participants.
The first day featured an International Seminar with a lineup of distinguished speakers, including Achris Sarwani (Head of the Bank Indonesia Bali Regional Office), Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suartana (FEB Unud), Agus Gede Hendrayana (Head of BPS), alongside international scholars such as Prof. Vincent K. Chong (Australia), Prof. Cham Tat Huei (Malaysia), and Prof. Yudi Azis (Universitas Padjadjaran). Discussions unfolded across two interactive panel sessions focusing on strategic issues in sustainable economics, business, and statistics.
On the second day, the program continued with a Meet the Editors session, a Doctoral Colloquium, and Parallel Conference Sessions. Prominent academics—including D'Yan Yaniartha Sukartha, Tommy Tanu Wijaya, and Irwan Sukardi—shared valuable insights on scholarly publishing. The conference concluded with the announcement of the Best Paper awards and the presentation of honors, underscoring FEB Unud’s ongoing commitment to elevating its global academic reputation and research contributions in its 59th year.
