Management Bachelor’s Degree Program of FEB Unud Hosts Two-Part Company Visit Series
The Bachelor of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud) hosted a two-part Company Visit series, visiting The Royal Pita Maha on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, and the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Nusa Dua on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. This initiative aimed to provide students with practical, hands-on learning experiences while broadening their insights into real-world business and management practices within the industry.
The first visit, which took place at The Royal Pita Maha on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, offered students an up-close look at business management within the hospitality sector. Through presentations and interactive discussion sessions with the company's management, students gained valuable insights into business processes focused on experiential, cultural, and nature-based services, business differentiation strategies, resource management, and the application of core management principles in daily operations. Furthermore, the visit provided a concrete illustration of how a company can build a competitive advantage by leveraging local potential and environmental conservation.
The series then continued on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, with a visit to ITDC Nusa Dua. During this session, students acquired a deeper understanding of integrated tourism estate management, destination development strategies, and ITDC's pivotal role as a world-class tourism developer and operator. Additionally, students learned about sustainable development concepts implemented in estate management, encompassing utility and infrastructure management, as well as community empowerment to bolster the growth of the national tourism sector.
