For the economic community, you must be familiar with essay competitions. Many students from the economics faculty are eyeing this type of competition. Exactly on December 11, 2021, the name of the Jakfest 2021 activity organized by BEM PM Udayana University. There were 60 participants who took part in the essay competition and to get the champion, therefore, of course the participants really fought hard to get the champion.
The student from the essay competition was named Ni Kadek Ratna Puspitasari from the Management'21 study program. Ratna revealed that she was very happy and surprised because it was the first time that Ratna had participated in her own competition and won the championship. In the midst of this pandemic, there is no reason for Ratna to lower her enthusiasm for participating in this essay competition. Ratna also said about the “preparation process, of course looking for inspiration first what to do, coincidentally at that time the theme was about sexual violence and the issue was still "hot" so there was a lot of content that talked about it and got a lot of ideas from there, so if you say it's a real obstacle At that time, I was about to pass the deadline but the original letter of his work had not been printed and had not purchased stamps, I was thinking about canceling sending the essay because I wasn't in a hurry to print it. But fortunately, the collection of works has been extended because if I'm not mistaken, the registration has also been extended, so there is still time to send it.” "The message I want to convey to myself is maybe yes, if there is a competition, just follow it while it's vacant and win later". "My impression when I participated in the activity, the impression after participating in the competition was like, oh, it turns out, I'm participating in an independent competition, then because at that time there was a workshop, I also knew more about how to write an essay". Ratna's motivation for this essay competition was my initial motivation because I wanted to collect skp, so I looked for a free competition and found the jakfest competition and the theme was really interesting, so I immediately registered.
This academic achievement is expected to be a motivation and reflection for all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University to continue to be productive and achieve achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. In addition, the pandemic does not become a barrier for students to continue to make achievements and make their alma mater proud.
