An academic visit to the University of Vienna (QS World University Ranking #137), Vienna, Austria, is part of a series of collaborative research activities with the partner university.

The collaborative research activity began when two lecturers from the Development Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Amrita Nugraheni Saraswaty, S.E., M.Sc. and I Gusti Agung Ayu Apsari Anandari, M.S.E., received a research grant project entitled "Educational rights within the disability context: policy intervention efforts in Indonesia (EDUPOL)" under the auspices of the ASEA-UNINET research network, in collaboration with the University of Vienna, in August 2023.

This collaboration was fulfilled by bringing in a team from the University of Vienna to conduct a public lecture in early 2024 and data collection in Bali in April 2024; then it was necessary to continue with the invitation of the Udayana University team to carry out an academic visit to the University of Vienna in June and collect data in Austria and carry out data analysis.

Other activities in Vienna, Austria, also include attending public lectures in the field of ongoing research. A series of diverse and in-depth activities are arranged in a structured schedule and run for two weeks, namely Monday, June 10, 2024, to Saturday, June 22, 2024.
