BEM FEB Unud Holds Academic Dialogue Equilibrium 2024
Denpasar, Press The Bureau of BEM FEB Unud-UUdayana University Student Executive Board (BEM FEB Unud) held an Equilibrium Academic Dialogue (EAD) on Saturday, May 18, 2024, which took place in the BH Building Hall, Sudirman Campus, FEB Unud. Equilibrium Academic Dialogue (EAD) 2024 is one of the new work programs of BEM FEB Unud in the form of socialization for FEB Unud students regarding activities from the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, the SKS conversion system, and course recognition. This year's EAD was held with the theme "Develop Your Potential Through Off-Campus Learning Activities." The EAD 2024 activity was attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Coordinator of the Development Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Coordinator of the Management Undergraduate Study Program, Coordinator of the Accounting Undergraduate Study Program, Gojek Bali Manager, Speakers from the student element, namely: Ni Komang Deepa Shanti Dewi; Dewa Bagus Trima Putra; Ni Putu Ayu Dinda Astuti; Hans Budi Liemantara, Chairman of DPM FEB Unud, Chairman of Commission A DPM FEB Unud, Chairman of BEM FEB Unud, Chairman of BSO Sde, Chairman of BSO Wida, Chairman of BSO KSPM, Chairman of Hima Development Economics, Chairman of Hima Management, Chairman of Hima Accounting, Chairman of Hima Diploma, and students of FEB Unud class 2022 and 2023, with a total of 162 participants.
The series of EAD activities began with registration of participants, invitations, and participants, which was then followed by remarks from the chairperson of BEM FEB Unud for the 2024 period, namely Anak Agung Ayu Kirana Wulandari, and remarks from the vice dean for student affairs and information at FEB Unud, Mr. Dr. I Made Artha Wibawa, S.E., M.M., who also opened the EAD event in 2024 by beating the Gong three times.
The event continued with the presentation of material on SKS conversion and course recognition in session 1 by the coordinator of the FEB Unud Undergraduate Study Program. The first material was presented by the Coordinator of the Development Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Mr. Dr. Made Dwi Setyadhi Mustika, S.E., M.Si.; he presented material related to MBKM. MBKM is the latest innovation made by the Ministry of Education and Culture, which took effect at the end of January 2020. In MBKM learning, there are 9 programs, namely: 1) Merdeka Student Exchange Program; 2) Independent Campus Certified Internship Program; 3) Independent Campus Village Development Program/TThematic KKN; 4) Teaching Campus Program; 5) Independent Campus Research Program; 6) Independent Campus Humanitarian Program; 7) Independent Campus Entrepreneurship Program; 8) Certified Independent Study Internship; 8) Independent Campus State Defense Program; 9) IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards).
Furthermore, continuing with the presentation of material from the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Management Study Program, Mr. Dr. I Nyoman Nurcaya, S.E., M.M., he presented material related to MBKM registration, where the Central or Ministry MBKM registration can be accessed on the independent campus website. Then the Coordinator of the Accounting Undergraduate Study Program, Mrs. Dr. Eka Ardhani Sisdyani, S.E., M.Com., Ak., He presented material related to MBKM Conversion and Recognition and Student Achievement, where the MBKM conversion is stated in the Udayana University Chancellor's Regulation Number 17 of 2021 concerning the Management of the Udayana University Independent Campus Learning Program and the Udayana University Independent Campus Learning Guidebook in 2022, which emphasizes that FEB Unud students in semesters 5, 6, and 7 are allowed to take part in the MBKM program, whether it is managed centrally (by Ministries or other institutions) or independently (by Unud or FEB).
Followed by Session 2, namely the presentation of material by MBKM Practitioner Speakers with FEB Unud Partners, namely GoTo, which was presented by Rayi Sukma Bimantara as Gojek Bali Manager, who was accompanied by Hans Budi Limemantara as a FEB Unud Student who had participated in GoTo internships, the material presented in Session 2 was related to the procedures for internships at GoTo with various positions offered such as operating, sales, and marketing.
In session 3, a sharing session was held by student speakers regarding the MSIB and teaching campus programs presented by Ni Komang Deepa Shanti Dewi (Certified Internship Speaker), Dewa Bagus Trima Putra (Independent Study Speaker), and Ni Putu Ayu Dinda Astuti (Teaching Campus Speaker). The event was closed with the Report of the Chairperson of the Committee and remarks from the Chairperson of BEM FEB Unud for the 2024 period, who also closed the EAD 2024 event by beating the gong three times.
The success of a work program is certainly inseparable from the contribution of the organizing committee, Ni Kadek. Ayu Diah Monica Sari, Chairperson of the EAD 2024 Work Program, thanked her colleagues from BEM, DPM, SC, and the entire organizing committee who had accompanied and helped make this event a success. "I feel very proud of the successful implementation of the EAD 2024 Work Program. Thank you to my BEM colleagues, DPM colleagues, SC colleagues, and the entire EAD 2024 organizing committee who have accompanied me to the end. Also, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the speakers who have shared their valuable knowledge and experience. Monica Sari also added a quote from Nelson Mandela, which reads "Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world, which means that Education is the deadliest weapon in the world because, with education, you can change the world. I hope that by organizing EAD 2024, all participants can get the maximum benefit. Hopefully this event can encourage students, especially in FEB Unud, to be more actively involved in off-campus learning activities. Thus, they can develop superior potential and personality in accordance with the main objectives of this event, "said Monica Sari.
In line with the statement of the Chairman of the Committee, the implementation of EAD 2024 did provide many benefits to the participants. "I feel very helped because this event is really needed by students, especially those in the fourth semester like me, so I am very focused on listening to the speakers in this event. Then, the selection of topics for discussion and the right speakers also gave an interactive and communicative impression to the participants, including me. My hope for the future of this event is that, in addition to being offline, it can be held online, such as through live streaming, so that the information conveyed can be spread more widely and accessed easily.
