Community Service for the Undergraduate Program in Development Economics at SDN 1 Tangkas Klungkung

The Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program of FEB Unud has organized community service activities with the theme “Improving Financial Literacy in Early Childhood” at SDN 1 Tangkas, Klungkung Regency.

This activity was moderated by Lecturer of EP FEB Unud, Ni Kadek Eka Jayanthi, S.E., M.Si, with resource person Mrs. Putu Vera Wulandari, S.E., Ak., M.M. from OJK Bali, who educated financial literacy and OJK functions as an independent financial institution.

The next speaker was the lecturer of EP FEB Unud, Ida Ayu Meisthya Pratiwi, S.E., M.Si, who educated about the function of money and the importance of saving.

This activity is expected to provide new insights and knowledge for students of SDN 1 Tangkas regarding the necessary financial literacy so that they become wiser in managing their money. The pattern of life in modern times, influenced by internet technology, raises concerns that children will become consumptive.

So that students can effectively sort out which needs and wants are primary and secondary needs so as to avoid wasteful and consumptive behavior.
