The educational history of Promovendus Putu Ery Setiawan, SE, MCom, Ak, CA, namely graduated from the Bachelor of Economics, Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics, Udayana University in 2001 and graduated from the Master of Accounting, The University of Adelaide in 2011.

The dissertation of Promovendus Putu Ery Setiawan, SE, MCom, Ak, CA, was able to bring Promovendus to a doctoral degree: Earning Management as a Mediator of the Effect of Debt Covenant and Corporate Governance on Company Value (Study on Manufacturing Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange).
 
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of debt covenant and corporate governance on firm value and the role of earning management as a mediator of these influences on the company's life cycle, namely birth, growth, maturity, and revival.

This doctoral promotion session was held offline or online and took place at the BH Building Floor 3.4 FEB Unud-Sudirman, where the promoter of the promovendus was Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Putu Wiagustini, S.E., M.Si., and the co-promoter I was Dr. I Gde Kajeng Baskara, S.E., Ak., M.M., and the co-promoter II was Dr. Sayu Ketut Sutrisna Dewi, S.E., M.M., Ak. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic invitees consisting of Dr. Ni Putu Santi Suryantini, S.E., M.M., Dr. Fedy Romamti, S.E., M.M., Dr. Komang Agus Rudi Indra Laksmana, S.E., M.M., and Dr. Ni Made Sri Rukmiyati, S.E., M.Si. Promovendus is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. Promovendus successfully passed the exam with a very satisfactory score.
