Students of the Management Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, on behalf of I Gede Rihayana, S.E., M.M., held a doctoral promotion session and officially held a doctoral degree on Friday, June 14, 2024. The Doctoral Promotion Session was chaired by the Chairperson of the Session, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E., M.M., as the Coordinator of the Management Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

The educational history of Promovendus Gede Rihayana, S.E., M.M., is a graduate of the Bachelor of Economics, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, in 2009, and a graduate of the Master of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, in 2014. The theme of the dissertation that brought Promovendus to a doctoral degree was the integration of entrepreneurial orientation, open innovation, technological resources, and competitive advantage (Study on Small and Medium Craft Industries in Bali). The purpose of this research is to test the resource-based theory and dynamic capability view through the interaction of entrepreneurial orientation, open innovation, technological resources, and competitive advantage.

This Doctoral Promotion Session was held offline, which took place at BH Building Floor 3.4 FEB Unud-Sudirman, where the promoter of the promovendus was Prof. Dr. Wayan Gede Supartha, S.E., S.U., and for Co-Promoter I, Dr. Dra. I Gusti Ayu Manuati Dewi, M.A., and Co-Promoter II, Dr. Ida Bagus Ketut Surya, S.E., M.M. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic invitees consisting of Dr. Nengah Landra, SE, MM, Dr. Pande Ketut Ribek, SE, MM, Dr. Ns. I Made Udayana, SST., S.Kep., M.Kes., and Mr. I Gusti Ayu Putu Wita Indrayani, S.ST.Par., MM.

Promovendus is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mahasaraswati University. Promovendus successfully passed the exam with a very satisfactory score.
