Students of the Management Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, on behalf of I Nengah Wirsa, SE, MM, held a doctoral promotion session and officially held a doctoral degree on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

The educational history of Promovendus I Nengah Wirsa, SE, MM is that she graduated from the Bachelor of Economics, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, National Education University in 1996 and from the Master of Management Postgraduate Program at Gadjah Mada University in 1992. The theme of the dissertation raised by Promovendus I Nengah Wirsa, SE, MM, which was able to bring Promovendus to a doctoral degree, was the Cepuk Woven Fabric Business Development Strategy Towards Sustainable Business.

The purpose of this research is to explore the factors that have supported the Cepuk woven fabric business's sustainability until now. By analyzing the company's internal and external environmental factors, the results of the analysis can produce alternative strategies for sustainable Cepuk woven fabric business development. The results showed that the results of the exploration of uniqueness as an advantage of Cepuk woven fabric are because Cepuk woven fabric has a distinctive style full of high cultural and philosophical values as a hereditary legacy from the activists of Cepuk woven fabric from antiquity.

This Doctoral Promotion Session was held offline, which took place at BH Building Floor 3.4 FEB Unud-Sudirman, where the promoter of Promovendus was Prof. Dr. Wayan Gede Supartha, S.E., S.U., and for Co-Promoter I, namely Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, S.E., M.T., Ph.D., and Co-Promoter II, Dr. I Made Artha Wibawa, S.E., M.M. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic invitees consisting of Prof. Dr. IB Raka Suardana, SE, MM, Dr. Anak Agung Ngr Eddy Supriyadinatha Gorda, SE, MM, Dr. Ns. I Made Udayana, SST, SH, S. Kep., M. Kes, and Dr. Komang Agus Satria Pramudana, S.T., M.Com. Promovendus is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, National Education University. Promovendus successfully passed the exam with a satisfactory score.
