RDE November Bachelor of Economics Study Program FEB Unud

The 2022 Economics Nobel was awarded to three economists Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond and Philip Dybvig, who have significantly enhanced our understanding of the role of banks in the economy, particularly during financial crises. An important finding in their research is why avoiding bank collapses is so important.

This Nobel award, planned or not, coincides with the increasing news about the threat of a global crisis, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing tension between NATO and Russia.

To deepen mutual understanding regarding the ideas of these Nobel laureates, and the threat of a crisis, the RDE Bachelor of Economics Study Program held a discussion with the theme:

“The World on the Edge of Recession: Facts and Policy Recommendations”

The discussion will begin with the delivery of a Guest Lecture by the Head of the Bali BPS Office, which will be followed by a discussion by PSSE Students (Lecturer Ni Putu Wiwin Setyari) and the presentation of the ideas of the Nobel Laureates by I Wayan Sukadana, with Moderator Mrs. Ida Ayu Meistya Pratiwi, who will held on:
