FEB Udayana Receives BANK INDONESIA RESEARCH GRANT (RGBI) 2024 Funding
Research Grant Indonesia (RGBI) is a research grant scheme program from Bank Indonesia that is allocated to strategic research, frontier research, and model development research conducted by external researchers with research topics that have been determined by Bank Indonesia.
The RGBI program received a very good response from researchers, academics, and/or professionals from both within and outside the country, as well as from reputable institutions and universities from all over Indonesia. This is indicated by the increasing number of applicants, of whom 615 proposals were selected. This condition shows that the selection of proposals in the 2024 RGBI program is very competitive.
The Regional Spatial and Economic Research Group from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, successfully passed the competition and was entitled to funding from RGBI. The Research Group is chaired by Prof. Dr. . Kembar Sri Budhi, MP, with members Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Purbadharmaja, SE, ME; Dr. I Nyoman Mahaendra Yasa, SE., M.Si; and Dr. Ni Nyoman Reni Suasih, S.IP., M.Si, with the research topic “Strategy for Expanding the Digital Nomad Agglomeration Area in Bali as a Form of Accelerating New Sources of Economic Growth." The signing of the research collaboration was carried out on April 18–19, 2024, marking the start of RGBI research activities in 2024.
