FEB UNUD Bachelor of Economics Study Program Holds Curriculum Review Meeting
The Independent Learning Program - Merdeka Campus is a policy of the Minister of Education and Culture which aims to encourage students to master various sciences that are useful for entering the world of work. Merdeka Campus provides an opportunity for students to determine the courses they will take. Through Merdeka Learning – Merdeka Campus, students have the opportunity for 1 (one) semester or equivalent to 20 (twenty) credits and a maximum of 3 semesters (or equivalent to 60 credits) to study outside the study program. In providing value conversion for the MB-KM program, the Economics Bachelor Program at FEB UNUD has 20 outgoing courses that have been registered in the MB-KM program as conversion courses. However, with the various changes that have occurred during the MB-KM program, there are some adjustments that must be made to accommodate these changes
The Bachelor of Economics Study Program FEB UNUD held a Curriculum Review Meeting which was held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at BI Building Room 3.3. and 3.4 FEB UNUD. The meeting led by Mrs. Co-Prodi Bachelor of Economics FEB UNUD was attended by the entire Committee for the Curriculum Review of the Bachelor of Economics Study Program FEB UNUD. In this meeting several things were discussed including changes in credits in the conversion of the value of the MB-KM program, the structure of the MB-KM curriculum which will undergo changes to accommodate the implementation of the MB-KM program so that it can stimulate students' desire to take part in the program.
In the meeting, various inputs were given by the lecturers of the Bachelor of Economics Study Program who were present. Basically the same opinion is conveyed regarding the improvements that are being carried out. Among them are: 1) so that the MB-KM program does not eliminate the characteristics and Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) targeted by the Economics Study Program; 2) not to extend the student's ideal study period (four years); 3. is not coercive, but can attract students to join the program. Therefore, in the meeting it was agreed to refer to the proportion of curriculum weights as much as 70% still had to support the achievement of CPL study programs, and 30% would provide additional competencies. The new curriculum structure will place convertible courses in semesters 5 – 7 so that students who choose the MB-KM program do not experience problems during their study period. Some of these proposals will be used as agendas and references until a new curriculum structure is formed that supports the smooth implementation of the MBKM program in the next period.
