FEB UNUD GRADUATES FIRST DOCTORATE FROM ACCOUNTING SCIENCE DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAM

The Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University successfully graduated the first doctor from the Accounting Doctoral Study Program. The first doctoral graduate was Putu Wenny Saitri, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA. 

Officially holds the Doctoral Degree on Friday, April 26, 2024, after carrying out the Doctoral Promotion Session, which was chaired by the Chairman of the Session, Mr. Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, S.E., M.T., Ph.D., as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

The dissertation raised by Promovenda Putu Wenny Saitri, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, which was able to bring Promovenda to a doctoral degree, was "The Role of Sad Ripu's Self-Control in Fraud Prevention at Village Credit Institutions." The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that cause fraud in LPD.

These results are expected to expand knowledge, add references, and provide additional information to LPD, local governments, LPLPDs, and the public in relation to fraud prevention in LPD.

This Doctoral Promotion Session was held offline, which took place at BH Building Floor 3.4 FEB Unud-Sudirman, where the promoter of Promovenda was Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suartana, S.E., Ak., M.Si., CA.

And Co-Promoter I is Dr. Eka Ardhani Sisdyani, S.E., Ak., M.Com. and Co-Promoter II is Dr. I Ketut Sujana, S.E., Ak., M.Si., CA. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic guests consisting of 1) Prof. Dr. Anantawikrama Tungga Atmadja, S.E., Ak., M.Si. (Professor of Undiksha); 2) Dr. Putu Kepramareni, S.E., M.M. (Dean of FEB Unmas); 3) I. G. A. K. Kartika Jaya Saputra, S.H., M.H. (Head of the Bali Province Indigenous Peoples Promotion Office); 4) I Ketut Giriarta, S.Pd., M.M. (Former Head of LPD, Desa Adat Pecatu, LPD Observer).

Promovenda is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar. Promovenda successfully passed the exam with the title of With Praise (Cumlaude).
