IBSN Holds Eco-Friendly Workshop (IBSN collaboration with Cilota Bali)

The Eco-Friendly Workshop activity took place at the IBSN Bukit Jimbaran Building, held on Tuesday (11/19/2019), which was attended by IBSN Batch 42 students totaling 100 participants. Cilota (Cili Lonar) Bali was formed in September 2016 in West Tianyar Village, Kubu District, Karangasem Regency, Bali. Cilota Bali raised the local potential of the village, namely the palm tree (palm tree / borassus flaballifer) as its main raw material. The materials made also consist of recycled materials around us such as used cardboard, old newspapers, used paper, patchwork, straw and gravel. IBSN students were very interested to know about Cilota and finally this workshop was held in campus. First the students were given an explanation of Cilota which was delivered directly by Komang Sukarma, the founder of Cilota Bali. After that the event continued with practicing the process of making several souvenirs such as key chains, bracelets, wall clocks and various other types of souvenirs. Students are very enthusiastic in participating in this workshop.
