INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR OF DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAM OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS UDAYANA UNIVERSITY
The Management Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, and the Management Science Doctoral Study Program Student Association (HIMA PSDIM) held a hybrid international seminar (online and offline) on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in collaboration with IU International University of Applied Sciences with the theme "Green FinTech: How FinTech Could Be Used to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals?" in the BH Building Hall, 4th Floor, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.
The international seminar activity began with remarks from the Chairperson of HIMA PSDIM, Mr. Abriansyah Harahap, followed by remarks from the Coordinator of the Management Science Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E., M.M., representing the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.
This international seminar activity presented Prof. Muhammad Ashfaq from IU International University of Applied Sciences, who is a professional in the field of management and finance, especially FinTech, Sustainable Finance, and Islamic Finance, Germany, as a guest speaker. The seminar was hosted by Ni Nyoman Ayu Diantini, S.E., M.M., Ph.D., lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, as the moderator.
The purpose of this international seminar is to increase knowledge and provide information to all seminar participants regarding the development and utilization of FinTech to support company sustainability. The seminar was attended by 157 offline participants, consisting of students of the Management Science Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, international students of the International Business Studies Network (IBSN), international students of Go Bali, Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University, student representatives of all study programs in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, Hindu University of Indonesia, and also students from Mahasaraswati University. In addition to offline participants, there were also 124 online participants who participated in seminar activities through Zoom Meeting. These online participants came from Mataram University, Jember University, and also students from outside the study program and/or outside the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.
The participants who attended the seminar were very enthusiastic; this can be seen from the number of participants who asked questions related to the topics presented by the speakers. The seminar activity ended with the submission of plaques and certificates of appreciation to the speakers and participants, followed by a group photo session.
