Quality Assurance Workshop for Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University

On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business of Udayana University held a Quality Assurance Workshop which took place at the 2nd floor MM Building, Sudirman Campus, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University with the theme "Building Understanding of Higher Education Quality Assurance and Its Implementation". This workshop took place from 09.00 to 15.00 and was attended by lecturers and coordinators from all study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, including the study programs of Development Economics, Accounting, Management, Diploma, Master of Economics, Master of Accounting, Master of Management Science, Doctoral Program in Economics, Doctoral Program in Management Science, and Doctoral Program in Accounting Science, IBSN Program.

The event began with the opening by the Master of Ceremony (MC), Ni Kadek Eka Jayanthi, S.E., M.Si. In the opening session, remarks were given by the dean's representative, namely the Vice Dean for Planning and Academic Affairs, Dr. Ni Putu Wiwin Setyari, S.E., M.Si. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of quality assurance in supporting the improvement of the quality of education at the Faculty of Economics and Business.

After the speech, the event continued with a presentation of material on quality assurance related to the National Higher Education Standards (SN Dikti) and the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus Curriculum. This material was delivered by Prof. Sri Hartati Dewi Reksodiputro, Ph.D, who is the Head of the Academic Quality Assurance Agency at the University of Indonesia. In her presentation, Prof. Sri Hartati Dewi Reksodiputro provided in-depth insights into the importance of quality assurance and concrete steps that can be taken by faculties to meet national standards and support innovation in the curriculum.

The material presentation session was hosted by MC Ni Kadek Eka Jayanthi, S.E., M.Si., and the discussion was guided by Moderator Dr. Ni Ketut Seminari, S.E., M.Si. After the presentation of the material, the discussion session took place very interactively. Lecturers from various study programs discussed and shared their views on challenges and opportunities in quality assurance and implementation of the Independent Learning Campus Curriculum within the Faculty of Economics and Business.

The workshop was closed with a summary of the discussion results and closing statements from the MC. Dr. Ni Ketut Seminari, S.E., M.Si., as the moderator, expressed her gratitude to Prof. Sri Hartati Dewi Reksodiputro, Ph.D., the participants, and the entire committee involved in organizing the event. He also invited all lecturers to continue to be committed to educational quality assurance efforts in order to achieve the vision and mission of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

The event ended at 15.00 with the hope that the knowledge and insights gained from this workshop will be implemented effectively in academic activities in the faculty, so as to improve the quality of education and achieve higher standards in the future.
