The British Council is opening TNE (Transnational Education) Exploratory Grants 2025 for International Education Collaboration.

The British Council, through its Going Global Partnerships program, is once again offering funding opportunities for higher education research and development through the TNE (Transnational Education) Exploratory Grants 2025 scheme. This program aims to support transnational partnerships between higher education institutions in the UK and 13 partner countries, including Indonesia, to strengthen collaboration, shared curricula, and a more inclusive and international education system.

The TNE Exploratory Grants 2025 provides funding of up to £25,000 for each of 34 selected projects, with a 17-month implementation period commencing in January 2026. The funding focuses on developing shared education models, contextualizing local education systems, and contributing to the transformation of education systems through a sustainable approach oriented toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
