Udayana University students have made another academic achievement. The Student Association of the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University held a national-level scientific article competition with the theme "Harmonization of Tax Regulations". Of the 23 existing teams, the team from Udayana University won 2nd place, a proud achievement.
Hard work, perseverance, and good teamwork have certainly been done, besides that, of course, many sacrifices have been made such as energy, time and thoughts. Udayana University sent a team consisting of three people from the accounting study program batch 19, namely, Kadek Egiana Sandy, Tri Widiastuti, and I Gede Bagus Dony Manuaba. As a team representative, Kadek Egiana said that this was the first scientific article competition, thus making it possible for him to learn more new things, especially in making scientific articles and coincidentally the theme of the competition was interesting in the field of taxation which at the same time motivated him to research a problem and solve it in the field of taxation. a scientific article in accordance with the provisions of the competition. Kadek Egiana also told about the preparation process for the competition. "Regarding the preparation of the competition itself, actually not too much preparation has been done because of course the first preparation that must be done is to understand the booklet of the provisions of the competition that is provided for us to understand well, after we understand all the rules and conditions of the competition, we will start to determine the topic of the problem that will be discussed. discussed in the article, after finding the topic, then we start doing our research”. Of course, in every process there are obstacles that are obtained, Kadek Egiana said that there were obstacles when distributing research questionnaires and the limited time for collecting articles caused them to experience a little difficulty in processing data, and besides that there were also obstacles from the committee itself related to the delayed implementation time. for 1 month. But regardless of the existing obstacles, they can handle it well because they have prepared all the things and necessities that they have written and arranged in the article and are well versed in the topics they take.
This academic achievement is expected to be a motivation and reflection for all students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University to continue to be productive and achieve achievements in both academic and non-academic fields. In addition, the pandemic does not become a barrier for students to continue to make achievements and make their alma mater proud.
