New Student Admissions
New student admissions is
a fundamental component of the educational process cycle in higher education. A
rigorous selection process is essential to recruit prospective students with
strong academic potential. This selection process is also necessary because the
number of applicants seeking to pursue higher education at State Universities
(PTN) exceeds the available enrollment capacity.
The new student admission
schemes at Udayana University (Unud) are categorized into two main tracks:
national selection and independent selection. The national-level selection
applies to diploma and undergraduate degree programs through the National Selection
for New Student Admissions (SNPMB), managed by the Educational Testing
Management Center (BPPP) under the Ministry of Higher Education,
Science, and Technology. Meanwhile, the Independent Selection track—covering
diploma, undergraduate, professional, and postgraduate programs—is fully
managed by Unud.
