New Student Admissions
New student admission is a fundamental component of the educational process cycle in higher education. A rigorous selection process is essential to recruit prospective students who demonstrate strong academic potential. Furthermore, this selection is necessary as the number of applicants seeking to enroll in State Universities (PTN) consistently exceeds the total institutional capacity.
The selection patterns for new student admissions at Udayana University (Unud) are divided into two main categories: National Selection and Independent Selection.
- National Selection: Designated for Diploma and Undergraduate levels through the National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB). This process is managed by the Educational Testing Management Center (BPPP) under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Technology.
- Independent Selection (Jalur Mandiri): This pathway covers Diploma, Undergraduate, Professional, and Postgraduate programs, and is fully managed and administered by Udayana University.
