Enhancing Research Competence: FEB Unud Hosts Workshop on Grant Proposal Drafting and Quantitative Research Methodology
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, organized a Proposal Development and Research Methodology Workshop titled “Strategies for Grant Proposal Development and Quantitative Research Methodology” on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Held on the 3rd Floor of the Master of Management (MM) Building, FEB Unud Sudirman Campus, the event was organized to enhance the competence of faculty members and the academic community in formulating high-quality research proposals capable of competing effectively in research grant schemes.
The workshop covered strategies for drafting grant proposals aligned with funding guidelines while providing a comprehensive understanding of quantitative research methodology. Through material presentations and interactive discussion sessions, participants gained insights into crafting research backgrounds, formulating problem statements, constructing conceptual frameworks, selecting appropriate research methods, and applying proper data analysis techniques to produce systematic, high-caliber research proposals.
The event also served as a platform for participants to engage in discussions, share experiences, and reinforce their understanding of developing innovative research relevant to societal needs and scientific advancements. Through interactive exchanges between speakers and participants, the workshop is expected to elevate the quality of research proposals generated, thereby increasing the likelihood of securing research grant funding at the national level.
